I love a challenge and my gig with Workshop Events definitely was that.

I was asked to sing the Lakme Duet unaccompanied from a gondola. Not only that, we had to get off the gondola, while singing and head up the gang plank to finish the song at the restaurant where the conference delegates had gathered.

So many logistics overcome from picking up radio mic signals on the to water, staying in tune with no accompaniment, keeping the wind out of the mics and staying dry. Thanks to the skills of a fantastic sound team and brilliant events organiser it all came off without a hitch.
